Bhopal - The city of tomorrow

Some people call Bhopal, a nice peaceful city. Some call it the city of lakes. Whatever they call it isn't enough to describe the beauty of this city. I have been brought up here. While stereotypical image exists in the minds of other people regarding the "Bhopali" nature and Gas tragedy, it is a fairly simple place with simple people. These people are yet to reach the maturity of a metro city but are very capable. The tech communities like GDG Bhopal (Google Developers Group Bhopal) are trying to educate college students with tech and many have decided to live here like me. Companies like Rightful Labs, Zappian, The Kabadiwala, Appointy, Netlink Software Group America Inc, Lumenore, HackerKernel, Deep Eigen, Toprankers, QR Staff - Free staff attendance, payroll & tracking & Swaayatt Robots (स्वायत्त रोबोट्स) etc are providing jobs to these individuals. Not just that but incubators like B-Nest Incubation Center (Bhopal) are helping budding entrepreneurs to stand on their feet until they can take over the market. While MP or Bhopal isn't something which catches the eye of the public as the next big tech & business hub, the journey towards achieving that has already started. Initiatives from these leaders, entrepreneurs and visionaries have already laid the groundwork to achieve all this.

All I ask of the people of Bhopal is to trust in the city and its people. Contribute in any shape or form, even staying here and doing the smallest of work can make a huge impact on the future of this city.

To the rest of you, I would urge you all to support Tier-2. They have immense potential waiting to be harnessed. If we want to see a balanced population in the future and not the imbalanced population ratio which exists today like in the city of Pune and Bangalore, we must take steps to empower our own lands & then help others achieve the same. Reports from YourStory & LiveMint already are telling everyone about the growth that exists in Tier 2 & 3 cities.

This post is to show my gratitude towards my city, these creators and others who have contributed to individuals like me and many others.
